Dr. Caroline Arakelian joined the Governor Wentworth Regional School District as Superintendent of Schools on July 1, 2022. Dr. Arakelian has served in various roles within public education for over 20 years, including as a teacher, building and district-level administrator, assistant superintendent, and interim superintendent. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Johnson State, her Master’s in Education from Rivier College, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from the University of New Hampshire.
Dr. Arakelian comes to the Governor Wentworth Regional School District with experience working with diverse populations across five districts within SAU 21 at the New Hampshire Seacoast. She also has experience in special education and budget development. She is known for being student-centered, purpose-driven, team-oriented, and hard working.
